Our Process

Due to the fact that coatings create a protective layer over your paint, any imperfections in the paint need to be corrected prior to the coating process. To ensure the absolute best results, our Graphene Coating package includes a 3-step paint correction. See below for our step by step process.

Step 1

The vehicle will be washed with a stripping shampoo before we use a clay bar to pull out anything embedded in the pores of the paint. Then we will use an Iron Decontamination to ensure any lingering metal deposits are removed.

Step 2

Once washed, we start our 3 step paint correction process, removing all the imperfections possible and leaving behind as flat and smooth of a surface as we can. This will help the coating provide better depth and clarity in the paint.

Step 3

Once the correction is finished, we need to wipe the vehicle down with a prep spray to prepare the surface for the Ceramic. Without a proper wipe down, the coating will not uniformly  bond to the paint, leaving behind areas with too much or too little coating. Once finished with the prep wipe, we apply the coating one panel at a time or less, taking care with each section so we create a smooth even application.

Step 4

After application, the coating will take a minimum of 24 hours to cure before the vehicle can be driven home. The vehicle will remain indoors, and we will periodically use pressurized air to remove any dust that may settle onto the car.

Step 5

When the 24 hour cure time has passed we inspect the vehicle under different lighting conditions, looking for any high spots, missed areas, or imperfections in the coating. Once the vehicle has passed visual inspection we conduct a water test to measure the hydrophobic properties, and because it's pretty fun to see.
